Formed in early 1977 in London, the English rock band The Police played many shows supporting Cherry Vanilla during this period. This headliner at the famous Marquee is most notable for Andy Summers, not yet a member of the band, joining Sting (Lead Singer) Stewart Copeland (Drums), and Henry Padovani (Guitar) onstage for an Encore performance of the song, Dead End Job.
